Grab the Wheel for Haven Society!
Grab the wheel on September 24 and help us raise money for Haven Society as VIREB hosts its first "Driven to Give" fundraising event at the VIREB office! We're partnering with Steve Marshall Ford Lincoln to raise $10,000, and all you have to do is take a five-minute, no-pressure test drive in a gorgeous Lincoln vehicle! There will also be a barbeque, balloons, baked goods, and beats, so it's going to be a fantastic day. Please share our Driven to Give Facebook event page to help spread the word. Preregister and you'll speed up the test-drive process on event day. Hope to see you there!
No Vote, No Voice
Canadians head to the polls on October 19 for Canada's 42nd federal election. To help you make an informed choice as a voter, VIREB offers No Vote, No Voice, a virtual podium of candidate profiles and their campaign platforms. No Vote No Voice is a free service offered to all candidates in local jurisdictions, from the Malahat in the south to the northernmost tip of Vancouver Island. Remember: no vote means no voice, so please get out there and vote! Visit No Vote, No Voice to find out more.
2014 Buyer Profile
It's here! Our 2014 Buyer Profile is now available online. This insightful document offers a fascinating look into the who, what, and where of residential property purchases north of Victoria on Vancouver Island. We produced the report with the generous financial support of the Real Estate Foundation of BC (REFBC). REFBC is a philanthropic enterprise that provides grants to non-profit organizations working to enable positive change in B.C. communities. For more information on the wide range of projects funded by REFBC, visit their website.
