The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) is holding a technology forum and Special General Meeting in Winnipeg, and VIREB is well represented at the event. VIREB President Guy Bezeau, President Elect Gary Gray and Executive Officer Bill Benoit are all in attendance at the two-day meeting that began today (October 29). The central portion of the session being held at the Fairmont Hotel in Winnipeg is the 2012 MLS® and Technology Council (MTC) meeting, which is an opportunity for information sharing regarding technology issues that affect organized real estate. VIREB IT Director Jason Conway is also attending this event, which will be bringing together technology leaders from across the country. CREA’s Special General Meeting has been organized to address specific issues that have arisen since the last Annual General Meeting held earlier this year. A number of supplemental training courses have also been organized to run concurrently with the forum.
