History
The Vancouver Island Real Estate Board got its start in 1951.
Over 55 years later, and in preparation for a 60th anniversary celebration in 2011, a special archival history project is underway.
VIREB staff have started combing through piles of boxes of old Minutes books, compiling a written history of the Board.
Interviews are also being completed with key people from various stages of VIREB’s evolution.
While the complete details of the 60th anniversary have yet to be fleshed out, a synopsis of the written history will be published to this webpage once complete.
