Timed to coincide with Mother’s Day, Campbell River REALTORS® were out in force during the Mother’s Day weekend selling Carnations on behalf of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. RE/MAX Check Realty REALTORS® Dean and Rita Casorzo joined the local MS Society’s Glenda Johnson in front of the Campbell River CIBC branch May 11th – one of a number of teams from a variety of offices that took to the streets as part of the MS Society’s annual MS Carnation Campaign. Always held during the Mother’s Day weekend, the MS Carnation Campaign was held in 280 communities across the country this year. Multiple Sclerosis affects three times as many women as it does a man which is why the Society uses the Mother’s Day weekend for its yearly information / fundraising blitz.
