The VIREB visit is scheduled to take place at around 10:00 am that morning when a cheque presentation will be made on behalf of the Board and its members. The Tour de Rock will cover more than 1,000 kilometers and officially kicks off September 23 rd in Port Alice on the North Island. The ride wraps up October 5 th in Victoria. Similar Tours will be taking place on the Lower Mainland, in Northern B.C. and in the Fraser Valley. Collectively these tours have raised nearly $25 million for cancer research since the program began in 1994.
