The VIREB Board of Directors will be meeting today (November 21)  in Nanaimo and the Board’s two newest members will be on hand to observe the proceedings. Neil Woodrow from Courtenay and Kathy Koch of Nanaimo were recently elected to the 2013 VIREB Board of Directors. The pair will be in attendance today to meet the existing Board and to experience first-hand what it’s like to participate in organized real estate at the board level. Budgetary discussions for 2013 are expected to be taking place so the duo’s introductory session will certainly be detail-oriented and complex. The new Board of Directors does not officially take charge until the New Year, but today’s meeting is guaranteed to be major learning experience.
