The deadline for submission for a Real Estate Foundation of BC (REFBC) Grant is March 15. An application submitted by that date would be addressed during REFBC’s June grants meeting. REFBC supports real estate and land use practices that contribute to resilient, healthy communities and natural systems. To facilitate those practices each year the foundation provides grants and information to non-profit organizations working toward transformational change in the province. During its most recent grants meeting (December 2012) more than $550,000 in grants were awarded, to help fund some 13 different projects across BC.

The deadline for submission for REFBC’s Green Building Grant is April 2, 2013. This program was created specifically to encourage the development of green building initiatives and was launched in 2004. Individual grants of up to $50,000 can be provided through this program.
