The Linking Island Business Conference and Trade Show held yesterday (March 13) at the Parksville Community and Conference Centre was a unique opportunity for business leaders from throughout the central Vancouver Island area to meet, mingle and share ideas. VIREB was in attendance to support the Vancouver Island Economic Alliance (VIEA) – the event organizers – and to help promote the profession of real estate sales. Featuring some 30 different exhibitors, the day long business to business gathering also included a series of focused information break-out sessions that ran concurrent to the trade show. One session examining Inter-Community Transportation on Vancouver Island was hosted by VIREB’s own Darrell Paysen. Other sessions included the business benefits of going green, to the inner workings of selling services and products to the Federal Government. VIREB’s involvement in the Linking Island Business Trade Show was both a positive and informative experience. The attached photo shows VIREB’s booth and some of the Conference Centre’s other exhibitors.
